Once upon a time we were hanging out talking and trying to put off getting ready for bed. I love going to sleep, but getting ready for bed involves a painful lot, so I do try to put it off as long as I can... though I do know the sooner I do it the sooner it's done. My brain just doesn't like to give way to logic sometimes. Will's does much sooner : ) especially when it comes to getting ready for bed. Anyway, there we were snuggling with my head resting on Will's shoulder and I look down and get confused on whose pj's I'm seeing... How were my pj's that far over from where my body should be??? Oh wait, that's right! We're having an unplanned matchy matchy pajama shirt night!!! Ahahaha! I can't remember who changed into pj's first, but neither of us noticed until then. And we only have a few identical shirts. It was our I am byusa shirts we got for free for voting one year, in case you were wondering : )
That happened last night.
Another time we went bowling with a groupon we'd had a little while that was about to expire. It included three games! That'll show you how unmuscular and out of shape your hand is... : ) the lighter the ball the smaller the finger holes, so unless you like the risk of your thumb getting stuck or the air popping noise as your thumb barely makes it out, you better just stick with a heavier ball. Game one: we'll just call it a warm up for ash who bowled a modest 54 (ouch!). Will excelled with the greasyish balls/lanes with a whopping 117! Game two: I guess I found my mojo and pulled off a 116! Will was nice enough to stay just behind with 114! Between the two of us we bowled a turkey and knocked most pins down! Game three: my hand started getting tired and I had two turns in a row in which I knocked down a grand total of one pin.... ha! But I ended my tenth frame with a spare then a strike on my very last ball!!! Woohooo!! Total: 97. Will continued to rock the house with his best bowling outing of his entire life : ) his last total: 152!! Then we went grocery shopping, came home and had dinner, then FINALLY took down/put away our Christmas decorations.
That happened today.
