you've been fairly warned!!
so now that will goes just about every tuesday evening to do visits, i'm left with another couple of hours by myself. in effort to use the time wisely, i try to get some cleaning, etc done. this evening i was cleaning up after dinner and started to smell something yucky. i looked around and was reminded of the incriminating tupperware...
a while ago (let's not talk about when) there was a tupperware (the very same) in the fridge whose contents went bad due to neglect. with good intentions i took it out of the fridge and set it on the counter. i must have gotten distracted because nothing happened with it. then out of laziness, i'm sure, it got shoved over in the corner of the counter by the microwave. there it stayed while i shifted back and forth between laziness and true forgetfulness.
until tonight...
i opened it and was sufficiently grossed out while i counted five different colors of mold. and that doesn't include different shades of those five. bahahahaha. nasty. i began trying to rinse out the mold with hot water. it took a while until anything budged, but there was no way i was going to touch it. after a good amount of headway, but still with plenty still in the container, i got a little curious as to what it felt like... after at least 5 minutes of rinsing i decided to feel it.... i'll spare you... : ) (message me for details? ha) eventually chunks started coming out. my courage lapsed a little. when i decided that i didn't want to be sending those chunks down the disposal, and after an especially large chunk, i determined that i was going to have to pick them up out of the sink and put them into the garbage... .... ....
that's when the dry heaves began... hahaha
i decided before i took out the garbage i better check the fridge for other things. of course i found a thing or two to add... in case i need to spell it out: cleaning out the fridge is not our strong point!
